We are in the upper 70's right now. A/C has gone off, windows are open, and the K's are running around the back yard on their trusted stick horses - Blue and Brownie - in their skivvies, of course! Wait - they just showed up with popcicles - yep, they've been to Grandma's house! My MIL lives out on our place now. Look for a post soon.
Last night, about 10:00pm, I was headed to the burn barrels and my MIL flipped on her porch light, and hollered, "Paula, look out! There are skunks!" Just as I turned around to look at her, a little skunk with a fluffy white tail headed back into the hay barn. She said she saw two. She was out earlier and they just came right out! G R E A T! As long as they stay hidden during the day, it can wait till Rick gets home!

I too wish I were going to the stock yards!! I love Fort Worth!! I have begged my hubby to move close to there, but I never win. The weather sounds wonderful up there. It's so humid and nasty here. I don't dare turn off the A/C.

Oh hasn't this cool weather been such a treat!!! Of course we need the rain and I'm glad we got it but now it needs to move on LOL!!! I hope they get to play some games!!! And that does stink that you can't be there!!
