Freezing Fog Advisory

What exactly is that? I asked as I checked the weather yesterday morning. I was pretty put out . . . it was supposed to be a sunny 48 degrees and all I saw was fog and what looked like frosty trees!

We looked like a winter wonderland! It was quite pretty but really ruined my plans for the day!

Finally, around 3:00pm the clouds started to clear and some sunshine peaked through.

Today is 51 degrees! But we have such a strong south wind, you still need stocking caps and gloves!

Can't rush spring, I guess!

Blessings~

Oh, how beautiful! It is nice today, too, but the wind...oh my word, the wind...

Today was our first day out of the fog (we've had it since Christmas Day!)....it amazes me how it can make everybodys mood just as bleak! Looking forward to a another day of some sun tomorrow before the rains come Saturday...they are calling for bucketfuls all next week!

I sure wish I could rush it! It's been in the upper 50s here after our artic blast. Frost makes for some pretty pictures.

I HATE freezing fog advisories. The pickup doors are froze shut, and everything including gates, equipment - everything is covered in ice. Oh well, it does look cool as long as you can stay in the house and be domestic! ;-)

We've had freezing fog, usually it just creates a little black ice on the roads. We rarely get such beauty of a winter wonderland! I'm sorry it botched your plans, but I hope you warm and cozy anyway!
