Kansas In All It's Glory

I am celebrating sunshine and thought I would share the State Flower in all it's glory!

These are next to our place. This was taken a couple weeks ago when the temps were a little warmer and it still felt like late summer.

Today, their heads are down low; full with seeds. It's been a joy to drive down the road with the sun blazing on this field. I shall plant Sunflowers next year, just because they make me happy!

Have a great weekend!

Blessings~

Wow, that is amazing! They are so beautiful, even just a bunch of 3 in a vase, or in fields full. Have a great weekend!

One of the fields out by us had sunflowers one Summer. It was amazing to drive by. I also took pictures. Tie planted two sunflower seeds this year and we had two great sunflowers. Now, we have two dry flower heads full of seeds. I will plant more next year too!
