Good Morning Friends!
The men of the Broken Y headed into town for yet another fall baseball game. Not many left.
Princess and I stayed home from church today to get horses ready so we can go to a local indoor pen and do some roping so Rick can practise up.
We are headed to Oklahoma City to the USTRC Team Roping Championships next weekend. A couple of our friends qualified for the finals and asked Rick to be their partner. We are very excited!!
Not only is this a great thing for him but princess and I are going to shop until our feet scream! There is just all kinds of great booths, cowgirl stuff EVERYWHERE!! My birthday is also this week so this is like a little birthday get-a-way, except with the whole family!!
We are also going to take in my favorite steak house - The Cattleman's Steak House - near the old stock yards! I CAN NOT WAIT!!
Now my sweet daughter gave me my birthday present early. She took me to a salon called "Curls Gone Wild" - has a really cute vintage cowgirl theme and I got a new style and color! Can't wait to show ya'll my new look! Isn't she just the sweetest girlie on the planet! Not only that, but she finished 2nd in the 2D on Friday night! The girl is SMOKIN'!
