Have you ever been driving down the road listening to some really great praise and worship and felt the overwhelming need to stop and raise your hands to heaven. Don't fight it. Who cares what people think. The only purpose we have on this earth is to praise and glorify God.
That's my challenge to you today . . . Praise Him.
Amen, amen, a thousand times amen! There are some songs that I feel the need to shut my mouth and sign, using my hands in this silent language to praise...and others that I just simply open the hands and leave them empty before the Lord in a symbol of worship. I know some people think it's weird, and in a Baptist church you don't see a whole lot of it, but when you are praising the Lord it doesn't matter what other people think.
I have had that experience so many times! I don't stop but I raise my hands while holding onto the steering wheel with my two pinky fingers! Not a good driving practise but sometime you just can't help it!!! Right?!
