Happy 11th Birthday to Bo!

Here is my boy.

He's turning 11 today at 6:24pm to be exact. I was induced at 7:00am, pushed for an eternity, blew out the blood vessels in my eyes and finally had this guy! He weighed 8 lbs 3 oz. and was 19 1/2 in. long. At one month of age, I had to buy 12 month old outfits for him. He was just a big!

I've got some random pictures for you to enjoy. My laptop hard drive crashed and has about four years of pictures so this is all I could come up with!

Bo is not your typical 11 year old. He can drive a tractor, rotate tires, team rope, train a colt, buck 400 bales of hay, basically work like a man right along side his dad. Do you think I can get this kid to make his bed or clean his room? And doing school is like labor all over again!

He was the leader in his baseball league for most homeruns and was his teams top RBI hitter. I have 10 home run balls, two hit in the same game, and every once in a while he will suprise me with a handful of wild flowers.

He's like his Dad, extremely hard to get a picture of!

He loves to fish but doesn't really enjoy touching the worms or fish. He's a natural at just about anything. He has a great set of vocal chords but right now, it's not too cool to sing. He played piano but then moved to drums.

He is bull-headed just like his dad and really prefers to sleep til noon.

Looking through these pictures, I can't believe how much he's grown! He can cause me huge frustration and overflowing joy.

He has a tender heart and really does love his sister. Despite the fact that they get on each others nerves and fight like you wouldn't believe.

He's my boy. Most of the time he's making some strange noise with an armpit or clipping a clothes pin to an earlop or titty. I have to make a disclaimer when I take my country boy to town. He's rowdy, loud, tough, and hilarious. He's fun-lovin' but don't jack with his hat or his sister. He won't hesitate to slug the bully but really prefers to just play and have a good time. He's got two little brothers who think he hung the moon and stars. He has a huge responsibility as a big brother. He is the epitomy of a "Man-child". There are those days that I can't believe all the stuff he does around the ranch and then we have those moments when the little boy comes out and I think, "what just happend?". Not yet man, not quite child.

I ask God everyday what His plan is for this boy. I really need to know so that I can be prepared. He hasn't told me yet so I guess it's one day at a time.

Happy Birthday, Bo! Know how much I love you? My whole life, I love you.

Blessings~
P.

What lovely pictures of your dear son! I love the ones of him holding his sister, just plain adorable! As the mother of a son I can relate to all the armpit noises and worse when I had my son and his friends in the house! ha! I wouldn't trade it for anything! Now he's a grown man with two little ones of his own. Enjoy each and every minute, time just goes way too fast! Nice post!!!!!
