Well, it is 12:18 a.m. and I am wearing off a Diet Dr. Pepper! The older B's and I went to the movie tonight to see Marley & Me. Rated PG - Minimal swearing, some adult content related to sex and trying to get pregnant. So, now I am home and need to release some of the caffiene I drank in!
We had a wonderful day today! Only in Kansas can we be 7 degrees seven days ago and 53 degrees today, with 63 expected tomorrow!
My Mom and Step-dad came over, along with my sister and her family. We ate, ate, and ate, then went outside for some team roping! How can you not on such a georgeous day! They hadn't ever seen DH and DS rope so that was a treat, for about 20 minutes and that was enough! hehe! The guys kept on and the family rounded up their bounty and headed home. NO - I do not have pictures - I have fantastic rechargeable batteries and didn't have one charged!
All of us worked together and made clean up a quick task. I hope you all had a wonderful day. Made happy memories. And most importantly, shared the Love of Jesus, on this His birthday.

Glad you enjoyed your Christmas! We watched it snow and blow here - but it was nice not being on the road. Not sure we could have got the horses out even if we wanted to rope. Ha! Enjoy the rest of this holiday with your family.

Whew right back at ya!! I'm working off the tamales I ate for breakfast taking down Christmas tree stuff. I was hoping Marley and Me was going to be a little more family friendly. What happened to "G" rated films at Christmas??
What a great Christmas day you had! The boys got to go shoot their new toys...ahem. and we spent all afternoon doing that. Had a BLAST!

Saw Marley and Me last night and was disappointed as it wasn't as child friendly as I thought it would be. Had my six year old granddaughter with me and had to cover her eyes a couple of times and didn't like some of the language. I'm with Cottonpicker, what happened to the G rated movies at Christmas? Did bawl my eyes out at the end along with almost everyone else there! lol!
Girl-that Devil Juice is BAD!! Did get a post out of it though. Sounds like a fun Christmas. This weather has been beautiful! We are loving it!!
Yep - Marley & Me is not a G rated movie. It is actually an adult themed movie with a dog. Don't let that lead you to believe that it is kid friendly. I also had my B's cover their eyes several times. I also cried my eyes out at the end.
There are some extremely funny parts. Can I recommend it to you and your kids . . .as a Christian . . . NO. Simply because of the implied sexual activity.
Sounds like a wonderful Christmas! But hey...I thought Kansas was COLD!! Always, unless it was summer or tornado season.
