Okay - Now we smell like a pickle factory but it could be worse!
Okay - back to the weather - this whole week is supposed to be in the upper 40's - low 50's. For December that's just pretty sweet. My Cowboy came home from work early so we could go cut some wood and just do some stuff around the place.
As you can tell . . .we are muddy here! The dirt we have isn't entirely red dirt, but has alot of clay in it so it sticks to everything. You can tell that keeping boots from making a mess is not a possibility right now!
Cowgirl the daughter is making a fashion statement with her wood cutting outfit!
The K Cowboys take every opportunity to do a little fishin'!
I found Rowdy snuggled up to Cowgirl the dog today. Can't choose when a good picture opportunity will arise - note the BBQer is almost falling off the deck, the tricycle clearly was pushed off for the fun of it, and the box of toys were deposited there because some other adventure called! But aren't those two the cutest together. Cowgirl the dog tried to eliminate Rowdy the first couple of encounters but look at her now! Either she is a good mama or they are in love!
Cowboy and Cowboy the son thought this was just the biggest rack they had ever seen!
And finally . . . Rowdy out exploring all that a little weiner dog can find at the Broken Y!
Hope you've enjoyed your day! The new year is fast approaching and yes . . . my resolution is to lose a ton of weight, get organized, lose weight, get organized, lose weight, lose weight, ENOUGH! Looking forward to the celebration!
Blessings~

you silly Yaussi's...I always love seeing what you guys are up too! How funny!
Looks like a great family day!
The weather has been warm here too, weird!
Of course I'm dealing with a ear infection, so I've been vegging out! I think we caught it early though, so hoping I will be feeling better by tomorrow!
I need to work on my resoltions for next year too. Lose weight (ahem), finish Willis, win buckle in rodeo or roping, clean out garage, pay off truck. I'll stop there!
Ha Ha me too...lose weight, clean my attic, lose weight, clean my flower beds, start some quilts, lose weight....you get the point!
Glad yall are having nice weather, it was hotter then a firecracker here today, felt totally weird.
Have a wonderful New Years Eve and Day!

Love the picture of your boots. That mud/horse poo combo really stays on there...Jade's shoes had to be thrown in the wash to get it off!
Great pictures! The boys looked like they were having fun mud fishing. ;) I'm with you on losing weight this year! Baby weight, and stretch marks. Bring on the jogging stroller and mederma scar cream 2009 !!! :P
But first I have to get this baby OUT OF ME....few more weeks, few more weeks... ;)
Have a wonderful New Year, Paula! We'll all pretend we're not aware of the fact that you wont be eating black eyed peas. *grin*
Love all your pics...isn't this weather crazy!? We MUST get together soon...talk is too cheap. Let's get some action going. For Pete's sake, we live 20 miles or less from each other!!! Talk soon! Miss ya lots.
I just love it when you post pictures! Feels like a sneak peak visit with a good friend! Love that shot of the 2 fishermen! What a blessing to experience all that childhood entails - including pickle jar fiascos! Blessings for a wonderful New Year!
I love the 'fishin' hole' picture! That is precious!
and leave it to the boys...to find a treasure in the wood pile!
My resolution is to just awaken each day and be thankful! Whatever gets tossed my way, either duck or catch!
Hope you have wonderful new year!
