What was I thinking??

When "Baseball Boy's" baseball season started, the team discussed which color pants to purchase. I voted for white because I thought - drop 'em in bleach and be done with it!

What was I thinking?

You can't drop them in bleach and be done . . . they turn dingy . . . you scrub and scrub . . . they turn rusty looking . . . you "White Bright" them and they just look like bright dingy rusty looking ball pants!

These baby's played their last game on Saturday and they are now . . . in the trash can. Yep . . . not even saving them for practice pants!

He played for the Wichita Athletics on Saturday in a fundraising tournament for a former Wichita State Shocker baseball player that was critically injured in a car accident. It was a fun time and a good cause. I, the mother, got to coach 1st base one inning. Pretty exciting stuff until one kid had an opportunity to steal second and didn't listen to me . . . had to get a little mean!

But . . . he's done for the summer and now it's time to R O D E O!!

Life has been crazy but I get on and check up on ya'll. I don't always leave a comment but make sure to take quick looks at your updates. I love ya'll and hope your summer is going fantastic!

Blessings~

Those pants are nasty! But, that means he played hard in them. Glad you are done before too much of this ridiculous heat wave.

Our sons played baseball and always had white pants. The bleach will work if you use hot water only. About a cup to a full load. Works like a charm!
