Bo has played with this group of boys for two years now. Great group of kids, nice families, been real easy to sit and enjoy tournaments with these people.

There Bo is, in all his glory, in those hideous pants!
In my last post, I mentioned that we played in a charity baseball tournament with the Wichita All American Athletics. Nice bunch of people, great group of boys with alot of baseball talent. They asked Bo if he ever thought of playing for another team and he quickly responded, "No."
We then started talking about alot of things that go into playing competitive baseball, how it affects Bo, the family as a whole, and his future in regards to high school baseball.
Long talks, late nights, losing sleep - this was us last week, trying to determine if we wanted to leave the Storm and head to the A's. Bo ultimately made the decision and you'll now see him wearing this uniform.

He already has a good buddy on this team so that makes it easier to step into a group of new team mates. It was hard to tell the Storm families that we wouldn't be returning to the team. It's amazing though, you throw yourself into the team, the families, and the game, and you only get one family wishing you well. I am sad at the response. But, my child comes first and this is the right decision.
I've always told these people that we would be upfront and honest with them if we ever chose to leave. That's what we've done. It's still dissappointing.
Thank you, friends, for letting me share. I am happy for my son but sad that I thought I had made some good friends and didn't realize those friendships ended with the change of a team.

Hoorah for the new team and may God bless this move! Sorry about the lack of support from the others - you just never know about folks. Maybe they just don't want ya'll to go and don't know what to say!
What a bummer! I may have said this before, but...I really admire the way you and Rick parent. You really invest in your kids and aren't afraid to sacrifice for them. It is encouraging to see. Thanks!
I think Bo looks very handsome in Green!
No matter what...I still love ya and respect your choice. I'm sorry that you've been hurt by their words, or lack of. Miss you!!!
The best decision isn't always the most popular. Good job for putting your son first. Good luck on your new team Bo!!
