The highlight of my weekend was getting to spend it with her . . .
We stayed at this Bed & Breakfast! It was nice and homey. This was our first time in a B&B and we felt a little weird walking around someone's home, but we settled in and enjoyed our stay.
Looking out the back yard, we could see Mighty's barn!
So it was real easy to do this . . .
and be back in a flash to do this . . .
We found the B&B very comfortable and inviting. She didn't care that she had several different cowboys and cowgirls coming in with muddy boots. It was a wonderful stay.
Now, this silly girl and her mama are headed back out to no-mans land next weekend and will be rodeoing in Dodge City!
Bailey made her first run on Saturday, in the MUD - two inches of rain created a large mudhole going right in to the first barrel and then one that was between one and two. Mighty hit those holes and literally sank! But he kept going. She ran a 20.7 her first day and then Sunday she ran a 19.03 - Took a whole second and a half off her time. She did knock down her second barrel but we are pleased that she pushed herself to go faster. We'll get that second barrel figured out and then . . . LOOK OUT!!
Blessings~

Lakin is on the edge of the world I think. Glad you enjoyed your weekend! The b&b looks relaxing.
Woohoo! When we hs rodeo'd in NV we had 18 weekends - 2 rodoes each weekend. It was a long season - we ran all over NV, with 3 close to us - the rest were Reno or Vegas. But.......it was alot of fun, you meet good people and I wouldn't have changed a thing.
YAY for girl time!!! You are one fearless momma! I don't think I'd do very good on my own trying to man everything! I'm a wimp, I know LOL!!! I hate when the arena gets mud holes like that! DD got her first taste of that in Mulvane one year....Literally was like a swamp!
What a cute home!
