Okay - I don't typically get political on my blog - but I am today. So, if you don't want to follow me any longer after this post, fine. At least you know what side of the fence I stand on.
Stem Cell Research - On Embryos - Yep - Thank you, President Obama for now allowing Embryos to be created, provided nutrients, only to then have the stem cells sucked out and thus the Embryo destroyed. The question is when does life begin?
Well . . . at 8 days an Embryo has a heartbeat. Is that life? What is the deciding factor when our life is over? When the heartbeat stops? Typically, yes. Hmmm - lets create babies to do research on so that diseases can be cured. Isn't that like laboratory rats? Oh, wait, PETA has a fit over that but yet, we'll let it happen on Embryos with heartbeats! Lovely, just lovely.
God? Are you happy with us as a nation? A Christian "Christ-Followers" Nation?

My feelings exactly - and now he wants to take away protection for Doctors and Nurses who don't wish to perform abortions! God will not bless this nation unless we get a revital going!
Well, my Bible says that God knew us before created the world. I can't believe that such "educated" people have so little......what's the word...brains???? And they are in control of our country and our kid's education. How scary is that???
I have to say that I have not followed anything that that man does. I haven't heard this story. I have only heard it here and I have to agree with you. That sounds and is super horrible.
I agree with you, if it has a heart beat, it's alive. My OBG won't prescribe birth control because he doesn't want to feel responsible for people who are on the pill and get pregnant and then still take the pill and abort the baby. He wrote letters to all his patients telling them of his choice. He didn't loose too many people. I wonder how our Pres. would feel if we did that with one of his wife's eggs?
I am with you all the way. This is sick sick sick. The research tells us that adult stem cells are the way to go. There is no reason to use these babies as research rats...but oh wait as you say PETA has a fit about that one. Save the rats....kill a baby. My husband has been a diabetic since age 19...would I like to see them come up with a cure....you betcha. Do either he or I want it to be from the taking of innocent life. NO WAY.
My heart is grieved over our nation and the road we are on. The Lord will have His day, and I am thinking it will be soon.

I can't say that I totally disagree with you but with ban lifted on Stem Cell research, that means that there is hope that we might be closer to finding a cure for MS...And I'm all for anything that will make Seth better...
I am totally on board and agree with ranch wife adult stem cells are the way to go!! I have not been very political until lately and seems more and more that Obama is living up to the expectations I had for him wich were that he was going to FAIL he does not have our country or our Lord in his agenda. I cant figure out what his deal is but I have thought he was slimy from the very begginning. I think we are going to see our Lord soon. Our country is falling apart and soon if not already we are owned by China and also Democrats make no sense they contradict themsleves on everything. I am an animal lover. I dont like to see animals treated inhumanely. So how come like everyone else said Liberals are all talking peace and saving animals, end all wars but go kill babys. Megan
