When it's HOT - who cares what you swim in! The kids love their pond! It's only about 4 ft. deep and a soft mud base! Not only do you get to cool off, but your feet get a good squishy massage too! Yes . . . I have been in it . . .yes . . . I love it too!

That looks fun! Our kids made a mud slide on the bank of our creek. They played all afternoon on it. I videoed it so Chris could see it. As we were playing it for Dad, he started pointing out all the poison ivy...we learned our lesson! We can all spot it a mile away now!!

We watched a Little House video and 'Ol Mrs. Olsen got into the ivy - it was pretty funny. Glad you are not all scratching from that too!
EEEUGGGHHH, mud? Yucky! I am a true city girl at heart! Don't let my kids know about all the mud. They think a water hose and a small puddle in the backyard is fun still. :)
Gramma & Pa had a pond, we swam in it in the summers. One time we all came home with a rash, there had been 'something' in the pond. Gramma was horrified, and we never got to swim in it again - that they knew of!
Valerie - YOU are coming out and at least putting those pretty city-slicker toes in this pond!
