Kansas Green for My Friends in New Mexico & Nevada!

We've had a good deal of rain so the pastures are green! We have 160 acres and are turning the cropland into hay - Horses don't prefer wheat - its good hay they want!

This shot is out my back door - I see deer often in the far corner!
I prefer here then at the front end of my now crunched mini-van!

Lots of timber for the kids to romp around in! A waterway runs in those trees and can get pretty full at times!

Off to the North is the building we call the "Bunk House" - So NOT like a real working cattle ranch! This is where all the events will focus out of - bible studies, teamroping / barrel racing events, concessions, etc. The horse barn is behind it. The arena will go off to the north and in front a ways. The ground is worked and ready for pipe, etc.

The pond is full, and YES, we get in it and have a blast! No pesky, mean snakes to deal with here! Bailey says the mud feels like an Italian Foot Massage! Neither one of us has been to Italy to really know what one of those feels like, but sure makes mud feel good!

So . . . here is my bit of Kansas - Green and rolling, where God planted us!

It's quiet unil I have to holler for one of the kids! Our Harvest moons are incredible and sometimes when the sun goes down for the evening you look and think the sky is on fire!

Come for a visit anytime!

Blessings!

See how you are? Bragging and all about your beautiful green landscape. Just kidding ya. It is beautiful, and I love looking at the pictures. Today we are experiencing gale force winds, and blowing sand....but what else is new? This has been going on since January. Not shaping up to be a good summer I am afraid. All DH does is run the feed wagon, pouring out more feed everyday. We had a wet spring last year, and were really spoiled throughout the summer. I kept telling myself God is in control, and His will be done. It will rain in His time, not ours.
Have a glorious day

Well just rub it in why don't you! ;) Honestly though, glad the rain has blessed y'all. When you're finished with it, just send it this way please.

What a pretty place you have! What a great place to raise your family and give kids (young and young at heart) a neat place to gather and fellowship.

Hey Paula, thanks for thinking of coming to see me yesterday. There are days I think it would be better to stay at the trailer lot than go to the paper but we'll see what God has in store. Chris has me slightly paranoid yesterday with the rainstorm. He told me that those little sheds get struck by lightning all the time. I hope he was joking!! I need to go tomatoe plant shopping too, it's planting time.

Hug the Ks for me, yourself, and Bailey...I'm sure Bo would rather not have a hug but tell him I sent one anyway!!
