Oh My Word!

Yep, here's 299! Let's talk about Garlic! I've never cooked with the "real" kind, you know, the big chunky stuff that you have to mash and mash. But, I decided to broaden my horizons and baught some at the store. I don't have a garlic press and I didn't know how much to use.

So, in my Lasagna filling I smashed up two, I believe ya'll call it 'cloves', and put it into my lasagna filling. Let me tell ya! I haven't tasted it yet, but my nose and eyes are watering! I hope I didn't ruin this beautiful pan of lasagna!

I'll let you know how it goes!!

Crickets!

I have crickets! Coming on the middle of January, freezing temps and I have crickets! In my bathroom. Do I have a cricket nest, cricket den, cricket pack . . .What?

The good thing is, they do not squeek! Must be too cold for turning on the ladies! LOL sorry.

So, this is the fourth time I've been taking my evening dunk to find a cricket in my bathroom.

On the up side . . . they are better then spiders!

This is my girl! My dollie! My honey sugar sweetie-pie!

Take a look at her picture on the side of my blog! What happened? Where did the time go?

Let me tell you about her - she's smart, funny, talented, hard working, determined, faithful, fiesty, strong, true and devoted.

She has opinions and shares when asked and sometimes when not asked! She has a crazy sarcastic sense of humor but knows how to keep it in check. Don't pick on or criticize her brothers. That's her job and nobody else better do it!

She rides fast horses around barrels and through poles and sometimes out in the wide open fields!

She's confident in herself. She enjoys her friends and has met some great cowgirls through HS Rodeo. She has an infectious laugh but only flashes her big smile every once in a while.

Dadgum! I'm gonna have to have a give-away! I don't know how long ago it was but I said when I hit 300 posts, I'd have a give-away. I'm at 295 and counting!! Whoop Whoop!

A Re-Introduction is in Order

This is me! I put on weight, I take off weight, I put it on, I take it back off! It's never ending!

I got red, I go brown, I fade to blonde, then back to brown, then get the red urge again . . .

This is my man. I love how when he hugs me for a picture, he hugs me tight. As if to say, "She's mine."

We are going on 21 years in April! Wow!

I'll re-introduce you to the yeah-hoos a little at a time!

Now, if any of you know a good way to publish or even save a blog onto a CD, I'd love for you to share the knowledge. I had two hard-drives crash in a months time and I lost every picture that I had. My blog is now a valuable family album if I can get it printed or saved somehow!
