Hello! Let me re-introduce myself! My name is Paula and I'm a blog slacker. I've been a blog slacker for about six months now. I've been told the first step to recovery is admitting it!

So, here goes . . . I'm a blog slacker! I mentioned that I would have a contest on my 300th post, that was about . . . I don't know how long ago, and I've got about 13 to go. It may take me to the end of the year, it may be a Christmas contest!

So . . . here are a few interesting pictures of my crew!

My beloved horse, Socks, is in Ace land so that he can get his teeth worked on. Look at that tongue! LOL

Klay and Kash at a T-Ball game. They were the Royals!

The Princess is getting ready for her first HS Rodeo of the season. She's made significant progress and I'll have a video posted soon! Just for you, Michelle!

I'm chillin' in a spot of shade at the rodeo. It was hot and I was thinking an RV would sure be good to have!!

and these . . . are some of the 1st Road Cowboy Fellowship crazies! We've had anywhere from 15-40 kids roping on Thursday nights. These kids came even when the arena was too wet! They are a special group!

Okay . . . I really have missed ya and I'm trying to get caught up with two or three of ya a day!

Have a beautiful week!

Blessings~

P.

HAHAHA You Blog slacker you!!! ;) It's been a busy summer for you!! I always get such a giggle after we ace a horse! Some are such light weights! And some are NOT!! When we had our barn fire and our paint mare went through some panels to get away from the fire she practically tore the tendon out of her leg so the vet had to ace her...10 times!!! WOW!

Can't wait to see that video!!! Did you end up buying a new horse for her yet?

FINALLY!! Now I can quit sitting at my computer waiting and waiting and waiting for my K fix!! They look pretty tough in their ball shirts.

Love your new glasses! You look like the hot rodeo mom. :)

Enjoyed your post! The kids and rodeo activities sound like a lot of fun. :) Don't feel too bad about blog-slacking, I do it, too! But it's supposed to be fun, so I try not to worry about it. LOL

Hope all is well and that you get back blogging soon!! Oh that Ace will do it every time! ha!

Ha! I had to laugh at the picture where your horse is getting ready to have his/her teeth floated.

I live in Virginia. My mare has to have her teeth floated every 3 months religiously. Poor thing, she has to be put completely under because she goes crazy when she sees the vet truck pull up (she's a thoroughbred, what can I say?).

Anyway, this old hag that also rides at the barn (she's an instuctor) hated me because I am a cowgirl (I ride both English/Western, but she thinks anyone that rides Western is just a dumb 'cowpoke' - her words). But I digress. You have to be careful with my horse because sometimes she does fall, so you really have to be on guard. This woman started screaming at me that 'horses don't fall when they're under', blah, blah....wouldn't you know - right then my horse fell flat. The look on that woman's face was priceless. Of course the horse was okay, but that woman never bothered me again. Ah, memories.
