So here are some pictures of my guys while we were in Ok City for the USTRC Team Roping Championship. The pix aren't fantastic so maybe a new camera is in order!!!
These little cowboys can get terrible dirty - so bath time always requires alot of bubbles! They've been in long enough that their feet are wrinkled!
This little tree frog has been hanging around B's bedroom window for about a week.
Daddy told her that her Prince Charming was waiting outside and she needed to come out and kiss him!
We got these pictures and then the weather got cooler. Prince Charming skidaddled before B could plant her kiss on him. She's been singing, "Some day my prince will come!"
The weather is in the 50's so I am going to get Christmas stuff up so that I don't freeze my hiney after Thanksgiving! I won't turn them on until then, though, I promise!
I'm also in the mood to sew! Those girls out West have me motivated. My sister sent me some beautiful fabric to make curtains and pillows for my bedroom but quite frankly, I'm afraid to cut into it!! So . . . I'm making some simple curtains for my sun room that we just put a wood stove in. Will be nice and cozy this winter. Will get pix when I'm done, or when I get the new camera . . .which ever comes first!
Abundant Blessings from the Broken Y!

Paula...I just love all the pics (my fav is the one with the boys walking away...toooo precious!) You guys have such fun together!
You mean to tell me you were in my neck of the woods and you didn't tell me!!!!! Well, hmph! ;) I was wondering what all the hooplah was at the fair grounds, that was a week or two ago, wasn't it? All I saw were the USTRC signs, but unfortunately they didn't spell it out for us unedgimicated. I know PBR, NFR, WRCA, and AQHA but the USTRC had me stuck for a while. *grin*
Heather - I love that shot also, I just wish the light would have been better!
LeAnna - I am so sorry! I was so consumed with turning 40 and all the shopping!!! It's not that far away - I'll get Les and come have lunch with ya some day soon!
Glad yall had such a good time and love the pictures of your kiddo's. You better lock up that DD in a few years dad will have his work cut out swatting the fellas away.

The guys walking away is my favorite too. I'm pretty impressed with your boys roping skills! That's harder than it looks.
I bet Bailey's frog will come back some day...she's just not old enough yet.
Oh what fun, adorable photos! Love the wrinkled feet and frog kissing! Sounds like y'all have been on the go! Hope we can make it to Oklahoma for that one of these day!
On the sewing front - just do it! Now you are committed and we'll be expecting pictures!
The little frog prince is adoreable! And, what a good sport your daughter is going along with all that teasing! I never would have stood for it at her age! lol.
Thankyou for your courage to dig into the CHRISTMAS stuff -
I've had a hankering to do the same but was afraid of the other two members of the YeeHaw Sisterhood. They're still razzing me over my early fall decor!!
Love the pics...haven't been to the USTRC in years. JB doesn't get the charge out of it that I do!! BTW, Miss B is growing up so fast and is so ADORABLE! I saw her at the 4H training...she came up to me and gave me a hug and tell me"mom says hi"! I couldn't believe how she has changed since summer. What a doll! When are we gonna stop talking about getting together and just do it?!?
Don't tell me after your sewing project..whatever it may be and I'm anxious to see!
I'm headed to OKC in a few weeks!!!!!!!
Yes, you'll have to let me know if ya'll pass through and are available, and we can grab a bite to eat!
Wee cowboys & bubbles, and froggy & princess kisses, too adorable! Too many blessing to count!
We just put in a wood stove too, been lovin it! Maybe I will blog about it!
Thanks for blessing me with your bloggie post!
His,
maria
How totally undeniably ADORABLE... Mrs. Paula, I sure look forward to being a happy mama!
Btw, Happy Thanksgiving!
Hey Paula,
We're in Wichita this weekend if you'd like to come snuggle Cooper! We're mostly at my parents but will be at Mleyneks at some point. We'll go to New Foundation on Sunday.
